It looks like I've lost another hard drive. Thankfully, I don't think there was anything irreplaceable on this one: a few photos that weren't Flickr-worthy, lots of podcasts, maybe one bit of entirely replaceable code I hadn't pushed to a remote repo yet.
But it means I'm without laptop for a few days. And I have a new iPhone. So I think it's high time I see what the future of the web looks like, because from where I'm sitting now (on DC's Yellow Line, somewhere under the city) the future looks mobile.
I'm writing this post with my thumbs (my second such post), which is proving easy enough. Not as quick as a keyboard, but not painful at all. The auto-correct is even being helpful.
I'm sure I'll be happy to have a fullsize keyboard and screen by week's end, but for now, I'm going mobile.
